Step Up! ABI Recovery
Step Up! ABI Recovery is the fee-for-service division of Brain Injury Services, a not-for-profit agency nationally endorsed for excellence in quality and service by Accreditation Canada. Step Up! ABI Recovery is the access point for Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation services for clients who have private funding – typically through insurance plans (auto, group, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, etc.) or other private sources. We provide a comprehensive range of services – everything from highly complex medical and behavioural care, to supported independent living, to community outreach and day programs. We have six residences in the Hamilton/Niagara area with 24-hour staffing, transitional living apartments in Hamilton, and deliver a host of individual and group programs within our region.
We accept clients from across Ontario.
An application can be made by a survivor, family member or a professional involved.
